miye, my muse

Miye is retiring from Kanopy Dance. Although I am sad to see my muse no longer performing with Kanopy, I am also grateful to have gained such an amazing friend! I began photographing Miye after the pandemic, and she gave me the encouragement to keep creating— when I nearly retired myself in 2020. Thank you, Miye, for all you have done for me both personally and professionally. You are a phenomenal dancer, and even more remarkable as a person!!
