blue skies, blue waters

It was an absolute pleasure photographing Carolyn just before my once-in-a-lifetime vacation to the Caribbean to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. I have always been drawn to the many shades of blue — blue skies, blue waters. When Carolyn, of Kanopy Dance, brought this navy-blue outfit, I immediately knew I wanted a soft, light-blue gel on the background to complement it. I love this monochrome look! To me it reads as very elegant, especially paired with such an exceptionally graceful dancer. Time for some rest and relaxation now — and fingers crossed I don’t get too badly sunburnt.
